Lokanta takeaway is here to stay as we manage the new coronavirus restrictions and hope to stay open. Order from our Main Menu or the Lokanta at Home set menus.
When the full lockdown was announced in March this year we were focussed on Lokanta as a sit down restaurant. We like nothing better than a packed Saturday night or a busy December with Christmas parties sharing our Meze banquets. We branched out a few years ago with a separate Lokanta inspired takeaway at Med Food Co which is now running daytime only for the time being. We held on to the traditional restaurant experience at Lokanta.
On reopening the restaurant in July we knew that not all our customers were ready to come back for meals out so we started the Lokanta at Home Set Menus for collection. We have now added the option to order and collect anything from our Main Menu. Please call us to order and we will have your food ready to collect.
We will continue to follow guidelines carefully and of course these can change at any time. Our Covid-19 statement is up to date as of 14 October 2020. We are taking bookings and welcoming walk in customers in line with the current rules. This means, under tier 2, just one household or support bubble per group. We are open Wednesday to Saturday 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Sundays 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Please help us to follow the guidance and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
Chef Mahmut is still running our kitchen and busy with meze prep, bread making and keeping the grill ready. As always we make everything from scratch and enjoy sharing our favourite Turkish inspired food with our Sheffield restaurant customers. We know everything feels different at the moment but we hope to keep the Lokanta experience going through this time and beyond.
